Two LRRA Events!

11th and 18th April

The 10 is quite early this year. With the 25 just one week later. It's probably best to enter the 10 and 25 together.

As a club we would like as many entries as possible for LRRA events as we get points for ALL entries. The 25 is split into three categories: Open, MiddleMarkers (specifically for those slower than 1hr 0 min's in previous 3 seasons) and LongMarkers (slower than 1:04:00 last 3 seasons)

Both events start 10.00 am : HQ  Saxilby: Entry Fee £7.00

Sleaford Wheelers Charity 10 mile Time Trial

3rd April 2010 2pm.

The closing date for this event is fast approaching. Officially Tuesday 6pm 23rd March. Though I may hold open for a further few days. As you will all be aware, these events do not run on there own. I would wish you all to compete. If that does not tickle your fancy then I will be pleased to receive offers of help. In the main it will be for marshals. Please contact me on douglaidlow@btopenworld.com or ring me on (01529) 461018. Some of you may have already received an invitation to enter, along with a CTT Entry Form. Please ignore the Telephone Number offered on that occasion. The one given now is correct. Full details can also be found in the CTT National Handbook.

With Thanks

A magnificent contribution from riders, Steve Forman, Howard, event organisers et al meant we were able to present Cancer Research with a cheque for £800 at the cyclo cross on 20th September - thanks to all who contributed, especially to the riders in the Charity '10' who all rode even when no prize money was on offer.

Nev's widow Jean presented the Trophy to the Memorial Event. It is presented each year to the quickest rider from the Sleaford Wheelers. The first rider to put his name on it was Mark Colclough. In 2008 it changed hands when Jim Boyle put in a sterling performance to take 2nd place from 105 riders. 2009 and it was all change again with Mark regaining the Trophy.
