Membership

1. What types of rides do Sleaford Wheelers offer?

We cater to all abilities, from beginners to advanced riders. Our rides include leisurely social rides, women's-only events, competitive road races, time trials, and weekly training rides like the Chain Gang. There’s something for everyone!

2. Do I need to be an experienced cyclist to join?

Not at all! We welcome cyclists of all skill levels. Our friendly members and supportive environment make it easy for beginners to get started and experienced riders to find new challenges.

3. What equipment do I need to join a club ride?

You'll need a roadworthy bike, a helmet, and a spare inner tube in case of punctures. A water bottle, snacks, and weather-appropriate clothing are also recommended for your comfort and safety.

4. How do I become a member of Sleaford Wheelers?

Joining is easy! Simply fill out our online membership form on the website and pay the annual subscription fee. Once you're a member, you can participate in all club events and enjoy the camaraderie of our community.

5. Can I try a ride before becoming a member?

Yes, we offer newcomers the chance to join a club ride or event as a guest to experience what we’re all about. It’s a great way to meet our members and see if Sleaford Wheelers is the right fit for you.
